Our Heroes at Mount Aconcagua!
Ooopss they did it again…Two of Puncak Ventures heroes successfully made it to the peak of Mount Aconcagua (6,961 meter), Argentina! In conjunction with Climb for Peace – Water for Syria mission, led by Kelab Jelajah Alpine-Malaysia (KJA-M), six enthusiastic Malaysian climbers including Deeno and Illaham reached the highest peak in South America continent, which is also listed in the Seven Summits challenge. The Seven Summits are composed of each of the highest mountain peaks of each of the seven continents. They began their expedition on Jan 17th and after going through unforgettable trials and tribulations…they successfully reached the peak on Jan 21st. They descended safely and completed the “agony” on 24th Jan 2017. Pheww…what a journey!
Climb for Peace – Water for Syria is a collaborative effort between Alpine Club and Aman Palastine to promote and raise funds to build wells for clean water supply to the worrying state of Syrians crisis victims.
